Meet Our Sunwest Escrow Family
Executive Vice President, firstname.lastname@example.org, 505-938-3805
After graduating from Eldorado High School, I started my business career in 1985 working for a locally owned Escrow Company in Albuquerque. I joined Terry White at First Financial Escrow in 1987 which then became Sunwest Escrow in 1997 and further branched out to Sunwest Escrow, Inc. My experience includes extensive knowledge with all aspects of Real Estate Contracts and Individual Retirement Accounts. I enjoy what I do and consider my responsibilities at Sunwest both my vocation and avocation. Personally, I have two children and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible and seeing them grow into adulthood. I have enjoyed the last 30 years here and watching the company grow and look forward to see what the future brings to Sunwest.

Albuquerque has been my home since 1960. I have often tried to imagine what it might be like to live somewhere else, but I am in love with the beauty of the southwest and would not want to live anywhere else. I have raised my two sons here, and am happy that they, and I, have had the experience of neighborhood, great schools, and lifetime friends. I spent many years as a general manager in the restaurant industry, acquiring skills in the public part of the business and many behind the scenes. I enjoy wearing many hats and love quiet bookkeeping! The things I try to do on off time? Art, music, movies, friends and spend time with my precious grandchildren.

I am a second generation native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque. I grew up in the South Valley and now reside in the East Mountains with my horses and an Australian Sheppard named Cooper. I enjoy time with family and my Mom is my best friend and supporter in life. I am hoping someday for her and her husband to return to this area so that I can help her as much as she helps me. I have numerous interest including my involvement and activities with my church, health, nutrition, religion and politics to name a few, however, my passion in horses and natural horsemanship. The phycology behind the natural horsemanship intrigues me. I love the beauty, athleticism, playfulness, interaction and relationship with this amazing creature, each one being unique in their individual personalities. Of course my dog(s) are very special too! Prior to joining Sunwest, I worked in the Escrow/Title Insurance industry for around 25 years and spent the last 5 years at a Real Estate and Business Law Firm. I joined Sunwest in June, 2014 and am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team.

Vice President of Escrow Servicing, email@example.com, 505-938-3810
I am a native New Mexican, born in Albuquerque. I have also lived in California and Arizona but nothing beats the Land of Enchantment. I’ve been blessed with a loving family that I’m so grateful for. Love spending time with my Grandkids, they keep me young at heart. We enjoy watching our hometown baseball team, the Albuquerque Isotopes and attend a lot of their games. Another joy of mine is gardening and watching my box turtles multiply in numbers. Started with two and now have a total of seven. My family keeps telling me that my Calla lilies would win a blue ribbon and should enter them into competition. My many years working here at Sunwest has been a joyful experience that I credit to working with phenomenal staff and a brilliant, generous and compassionate employer. They are indeed my second family and for that I give thanks every day. I’ve worked within the escrow business since 1984 and want to use my experience and expertise to meet your needs. My dedication reflects my professional standards and focus on our clients’ to have a great experience with our service here at Sunwest.

I have 3 awesome children, my daughter Vanessa, Chris and Bobby, plus my 2 grandchildren, Anthony and my precious Destiny, who are my joy. I can not forget Robert, my son-in-law and my future daughter-in-law, Suzanne. My children are my life. I’m truly blessed. We had the good fortune to live in Europe for 12 years, due to being a military family. The people, the food, the lifestyle and of course the traveling was an amazing experience. I was born and raised in Albuquerque and loved every minute of it. I graduated high school from Eldorado and graduated from UNM with a bachelor’s degree in English. For my first two years of college I worked as a court runner for a local title company. I then spent three years working locally as a marketing manager and graphic designer for the national real estate publication called The Real Estate Book. After graduation I moved directly to Sunwest. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my wife as we patiently wait for the arrival of our first child and playing soccer in the summers and snowboarding in winter.
Director of Charitable Giving, firstname.lastname@example.org
Terry and I were married in 1980 and while he worked hard growing this company, I stayed home and took care of our 3 boys. In 2011, I started giving birthday parties for CLNKids, a homeless daycare center here in Albuquerque. Over time, my position at Sunwest has evolved into a new position, Director of Charitable Giving. God has blessed Terry and I and our family and company beyond measure, definitely more than we deserve. We have chosen to give back to the community in our own unique way. Through Sunwest, I deliver Starbucks to cancer patients during their chemo treatments, give the parties at the daycare center each month, cook dinners for patients residing at Casa Esperanza, we supply socks and underwear for clients at St. Martins Hospitality Center and most recently we have adopted the elementary school behind our office building to help where there is a need. I am enjoying being a part of the staff.
President/Chief Executive Officer, email@example.com, 505-938-3809
I started my business career after getting my degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico in 1983. My first job was as controller for a local title company and in 1987 I started First Financial Escrow, Inc. Over the years I played a part in several startup companies including First Financial Equities, Inc., First Financial Trust, Inc., First Financial Marketing, Inc. and Asset Ventures, Inc. In 1997 First Financial Escrow, Inc. was able to purchase the escrow accounts from Sunwest Bank and changed its name to Sunwest Escrow. As the market changes Sunwest has grown and changed along with it. Besides my wife, Sheila, we have three boys, two daughter-in-laws, one grandson, another grandson on the way and a future daughter-in-law. Sunwest is my passion and I enjoy coming to work every day to see what will happen next. I enjoy fly fishing, spending time in Colorado, biking and watching my boys play soccer.
